Development of analytical methods based on both liquid and gaseous chromatographic techniques, and, coupled to various detectors (HPLC-DAD-FL, HPLC-MS, GC-FID, GC-MS) aimed at characterization and determination of bioactive compounds of natural origin, as well as of compounds from oxidative degradation of lipids of marine origin.

PhD in Chemical Science and Technology from the Universities of Santiago de Compostela and Vigo in 2019, she completed her doctoral thesis at the IIM-CSIC in the field of emulsified systems based on lipids of marine origin.

She joined IIM in June 2000 as contracted personnel and in December 2008 as civil servants.

She has participated as a member of the technical team in more than 10 research projects (3 of them European) and in collaborations with several companies (Pescanova, Culmarex …). She is also co-author of 14 articles and has contributed various communications to national and international conferences.

Since 2002, she has managed the economic management of most of the group’s projects.
